My 15g "Noobagumi" (56k=huh?)

Greetings!
Just thought i'd post my first attempt at an iwagumi style tank, hopefully i can get some criticism on how to better improve it all comments, good and bad welcome.

The specs:
2 foot 15g
ADA Amazonia
Eheim 2213
72w T5 lighting
Macro/micro dosing
Excel used, no co2 at this stage

Inhabitants:
Siamese fighter fish
SAE
about 5 Caridina longistrostris, originally 15, they've been mysteriously disappearing over time

Plants:
Hemianthus micranthemoides, Didiplis diandra, Elatine gratioloides , Hitch hiking duckweed

The beginning, scaped and Elatine planted

1 week mark, equipment and fish added

2 week mark, HM and didiplis added

3 week mark

1 month anniversary, i removed that pesky floating Java Fern :P

Overall i'm pleased, i think things have been growing a little slow considering i'm using AS, however i've been slacking off on the ferts, once to sometimes twice a week dosing, so that may be the cause.
Had abit of a nasty GSA outbreak on the glass, easy enough to clean though, gotta shorten the photo period

thanks for looking

Your situation with the rocks are just like mine with my 7g. Your rocks are too small for a tank that size. It needs to be bigger and it needs to reach at least half the height of the tank.

That hemianthuis looks nice.... where did you pick that up, its hard to find around here. Agreed... the rocks need to be more prominent in the scape, but a nice tank none the less
cheers

Your equipments are really nice, however, you need taller rocks to make an Iwagumi style. Anyways, this is a great start. Good Luck!

Very nice set-up indeed. I 2nd the rock suggestions said above and also suggest adding some broader leaved plants to your scape. Or possibly some thing grassy, suchas Blyxa.
