Started my 120 planted tank, this will be the diary of it!! PICS

Hello all, I am still a newbie to this FW planted tank thing, I was into Reef tanks for awhile and figured id try something easier and cheaper!! I have built the stand and canopy for this 120 (4x2x2 foot). I currently have PC lighting fixture in there but will be selling that to get the A-H supply fixtures. I just went out and bought a new Rena XP3 and will be getting another one as soon as the store gets the truck in. I am planning on doing a heavy planted tank and a rather large load of fishies maybe like 75-100, small guys but I like to have lots of fishies in there!! So far I have peat moss layer and SMS as my sunstrate. Heres some pics of it so far!!

Great location, IMO. Potential for some very nice sunlight. I've never used that substrate before. Actually, I've never even seen it used by anyone....must have simply missed it. Excuse me, I need to run a search and learn about this stuff .

Good move getting a 2nd filter.

Yeah the substrate is called SMS Soilmaster Select and is bought at Lesco. I used Canadian Peat Moss on the very bottom. I am learning all this also as I go, I read and heard of a few people using SMS and hav great success with it. I shall see....Thanks

Your stand looks awesome - is that coffee table built in with it, or are they separate? Lovely job, and your tank is going to look awesome! Please keep us updated with pictures and progress!
