Attempt at scape that flows

Hi everyone and thanks for reading,
So as the title says Im trying to make my tanks aquascape flow. As of right now its just a few plants throw in a 55 gallon with lowish light (PAR=80) and the ph is about 8.3 and hardness is also very high. So im looking to get some new plants and driftwood to fix this. Currently i have some black river rock or thicker black slate like rock to add in I just dont know which to choose, I was thinking the river rock but they seem so dangerous to stack up even with silicon on them, so Im stuck. Currently I have some swords and a crypt wendtii and some crypt bal. that my rainbows keep eating so i have to move them some where else . So here is what i am thinking about doing now, sorry for the bad picture and writing but its hard to draw and write on a phone haha. On the logs I'm thinking about putting anubias nana petite, anubias nana and anubias frazeri and some moss too. Then a space with only crypt wendtiis. In the bottom half of the picture i have a stem plant draw in but i don't know what to put in I was think maybe some bacopa carolina but i would like suggestions, any suggestions about this layout too please, thanks
