32 gal planted tank

Hi there. I am a new member of this forum and I like the site very much. I have a 32 gallon planted tank that I have had for the last 18 months. I am running a DIY co2 setup, I have an 80 watt compact fluorescent light with two 6500 K bulbs and an 18 watt light with a 10 000 K bulb. I'm doing some changes at the moment but once I'm happy with how things are looking I'll post some pics up.

Cheers.

This is an old picand before I put Co2 in.

And the other is from about two months ago. I ran into alot of algae problems about three months ago so I had to cut back alot of my plants. It's kind of on the re-mend at the moment.

I like the way the first pic looks, maybe it's just the colors are more correct, but it looks real good! Can't wait to see when it grows back out. Great job without co2 as well!

Thanks edacsac. I've ordered some glosso and H. Micranthemoides too. Any ideas welcome.

Is your tank right next to your TV? If so, that would create a real visual power struggle for me! lol...

I don't have any suggestions; your tank looks way better than my mine.

Good idea. The TV is rarely on though, it's not in the main living area.
