60cm iwagumi journal

Hello Planted Tank,

This thread will be all about my new 60 by 30 by 36 Iwagumi. It is also my first ''real'' attempt at aquascaping so don't expect anything amazing.

Here is the tank - it is a YiDing and has Diamant Glass which is extremely clear.

Substrate - ADA amazonia new multi type

Light - 60cm Up aqua pro Z (might get a second)

Filter - looking into eheim 2215

Heater - will get Hydor External 200w

Co2 - also yet to be purchased

Also purchased about 10kgs of Seiryu rocks

Here are some pictures of some rock layouts, feel free to give advice and opinions

I know they all look very similar but I just cant arrange them to look nice in any other way

I am planning on planting HC down the front and doing DSM for a few months and once it is flooded i will add staurogyne repens in between the rocks and either hairgrass or Blyxa in the back left.

Fauna - Definitely CRS and possibly another species of shrimp, I could add a school of fire red ember tetras but really don't want the eating the shrimplets as this will be partly dedicated to my CRS.

Once again please feel free to give feedback as I would really like to know what i could do better.

Not to rain on your parade, but seiryu stones and crs don't usually work out so good together. The stones raise the heck out of your kh, which should be quite low for crs.

Agreed... tried it once, and man... those things dropped like flies!
