Some of the "pets" in the 75cm ADA

These are all inhabitants of my 75cm ADA planted tank, along with some Harlequin Rasboras and Amano shrimp:

Olive Nerite Snail

Cherry Shrimp female with Eggs

Cherry Shrimp baby (about 3 days old)

Miniature Crayfish

Hooooooly crap how do you do that. That is one detailed picture of a dwarf crayfish. Soon I will try my shot at macro photography. I have everything, but I just need the time...

Shumpei, It's MAGIC Seriously though, I have plans for a SCAPE meet at my place, where I will be doing a talk on Aquatic photography. It will explain a lot. Sometime closer to end of summer I guess.

Wow, I didn't realize that olive nerite snails were that pretty. How many do you have and where did you get them from?

I've never even seen cherries that detailed (or a picture of her eggs through her back for that matter) with even my naked eye. I am impressed.

In college....so no aquariums for a while.....

O yah, didn't notice her back. And her tail is uneven too. Did it get injured? I had a cherry shrimp who go sucked up by a canister filter and it damaged her tail. It grew back but it is still small like the one in your picture.

Or is it just genetics.

Very nice Ed! The egg definition in her saddle is incredible! I didn't know they looked like that up there. (When they drop of course it's obvious) Pretty nerite too! Your crays look like they want to just grab you with their pinchers. LOL hehehe

This was part of a group buy that SCAPE organized last month from a SUPER nice lady called Wilma. I got a dozen.

Dunno, or it could just be the angle of the shot.

I use Canon 5D body, and 100mm 2.8 macro lens, with 580ex flash, wirelessly triggered by the Canon STE2 controller.
