3ft Planted Tank

This is my 3ft planted tank set up awhile ago and newly planted.

The Tank-


The Cyrpt-


The Hygro-


The Java Fern on Wood-


Moss on Wood-


The Rotala-


The Myriophyllum aquaticum-


Some Snails-



All Plant or aquascape suggestions welcome.

nice start. two suggestions:
1. remove all that slate.
2. add a black background (or paint the back of the tank).

i actually like the hardscape of the tank with the slate and white background

the background is fixed because i have got the tank that way and its painted on. should i take out my slate out or use it in a differ way?

I would replace the slate with bigger/rounder boulders/riverstones.

I think it is a very interesting tank. I love the bogwood and the way it is placed. I think the slate is nice, just perhaps take some of it out and put some nice rocks in. Good idea though.

So i do plan on taking out my slate and i have a bucket of rocks that maybe are the ones that you are talking about.

Yeah I agree, those larger rounder rocks would look better. The slate just looks very out of place in its current setup.
