Looks like it's coming a long

You might want to try taking pics with no flash when it's dark in the room though. Just use the tank light. They tend to come out a little better.

Hi

Lookig good.

But i see bald leggy moss and and SAE which is eating the leaves of the moss making it look like that. If you want your moss to look better thin you need to get rid of the SAE.

2 of my downois are going almost all bare, while one of them is growing big and producing offspring

Im not sure i think it may just be the SAE because in my 10 gallon i have 3 of them and my downoi had it's leaves eaten too. Since we both have SAE i can only think that they that did this as well.

I din't blame you for not wanting to get rid of your SAE i love mine and would never get rid of them. Really cool fish these guys are.

I disagree. There are many plants I have found that do well under low light. I had Anachris, many Hygrophila species(especially Hygrophila Deformis), the Javas, most moss. Its just what you have according to additives(CO2, Ferts).

The tank is coming along.

Not entirely, with that low of light there is barely no need for co2. Theres enough in the tank which is created by the fish. If you want some better results Big Als Online has a t-5 strip light (28w) for $35. I have one on my 20gal High and I'm very tempted to get another one.
