Just thought I'd share the Zebra spawn I had recently.

Alpha Male (and father)-

The Mating-

Sorry for the quality, it's difficult trying to take a picture inside such a narrow and deep cave. But you can see the female's silhoutte in the background.

Rejected Fry Day 1 (he accidentally got kicked out)-

3 Days Later-

6 Days Later-

10 Days Later-

2 Weeks-

I was reading that they are carnivorous. I would love to get my hand on a pair when I have some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Peace,
Ry

I raise my sword in the air in the battle against clado. I have been beaten in this battle but the war is not over. As my wounds heal I amass another army, an army with many legs, an army of Amano's......

I thrust my tridant into the mass of medusa like staghorn. I am wounded but I refuse to take a knee.

What do you feed your zebras? Do you keep them with schooling fish?

it is awsome they are breeding, since where they are naturally discovered is being destroyed

how many do you have? it looks like they are in a tank just for them? what you feeding them.

if i had an extra $1000 i would deffinatly buy a breeding group

Thanks everyone.

There are 6 adults, and now 6 fry in a 20L. It has a turnover rate of 20X, with an Odyssea CFS4, Eheim 2213 and Maxi-Jet 400 powerhead.

They are in their own tank, but they share it with Cherry shrimp and MTS. I feed them bloodworms, daphnia, Hikari Carnivore, NLS Community, Brine Shrimp pellets and NLS H2O pellets. They condition the best on the bloodworms, but I have to feed them fry-friendly food now, so mostly pellets since fry will choke on bloodworms.

If you're interested I can post how I got them to spawn.
