nice natural look, good work Scott.
one idea would be to move that 33% from the left Val plant from the foreground to the background
there by blocking the view of those white & yellow vertical rods that are about 33% from the right.

2.8 WPG for a 55 gallon tank is decent lighting. Not too high, not low either. =)

Great scape, I like it. How heavily was it planted before it grew in?

2.8 wpg * 55 gallons = 154 watts. Over two bulbs, that's 77 watts per bulb. He could be using T5 HO bulbs which put out 80 watts each. =)
