Any tetra experts here?

Got this pair at a local Petsmart. $2.99 each, beautiful fish. They had no clue what it was and I have never seen 'em. THey are small, about 1/2" each.

Anyone know what it is?

Von Rio tetras (sometimes also called Flame Tetras). Not sure on the species name though, but it is a very nice fish. I like them a lot!

I thought Von Rios had some stripes.

the one in the middle with the stripes is a von rio flame tetra.
the top and bottom ones are orange von rio flame tetras. The regular von rios get a little bigger than the orange variety... but hey its 8 against 3 in my tank so theres no competition for the little wolf pack!!!

it was hard photographing the little guys!!! they dont stay still for more than a second or two!

*edit* btw paradise how do you get your photos to come out so clear and without bright spots??

Do they school in your tank? If yes, what size is your tank?
