My new planted tank

Hi,

I got hold of a new tank approx 90 litres and decided that I wanted to create a planted tank. I am really undecided on what fish to put in it, does anyone have any suggestions on what would look nice and suit a planted tank of this size.

Cheers.

Very nice looking tank! That's ~ 20 gallons

I've been wanting to start a colony of Lamp. Brichardi's..... I think that tank would be big enough (tho barely)!

Are you interested in getting fish that will likely have offspring? Or more like a schooling fish?

A bunch of fancy gupies would look great in tthat. A lot of people never have guppies after they dive into serious fishkeeping e cause guppies are "newb" fish.
The tank looks great! Could you take a picture of the tank without the funny angles?

Here is a front on shot of the tank.

I like the idea of the guppies, I only have a few guppies in my other tank and they seem to be quite solitary. When kept in larger numbers are they a schooling fish.

white clouds or harlequin rasbora would look great in that setup. both species look very nice when they color up after acclimatizing, and they do well in schools.

i like the natural look you having going. it'll be nice as it grows in.
