2.5 experiment

Since I tore down my 20g reef I decided I would recycle some of the sand to use for a little experiment.

This will be a 2.5g tank with inert sand as a substrate and natural sunlight from a south facing window. Not sure what I want to do with it so I'll just sort of do things with it and see how it goes. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

Would be perfect for a brackish H. rubra tank, since aragonite will bump your pH and such up.

Not a bad idea. I could definitely see some cool things to do with brackish.
