Brilliant, temp is around 84-85F. I'd like to lower it to around 82F for the sake of plants but seems like the discus prefer it around 84-85F.

wow, nice discus and the plants look like they are growing well in the discus environment. How are the rainbows and discus getting along? ime the rainbows were too aggressive of feeders to keep with discus.

hooha, the rainbows never bother discus, believe me, when it comes to dinner time , none of the rainbows stands any chance to against those discus, I guess maybe because all my discus are pretty much adult size?
However, I do think those rainbows (three in the tank) are kinda out growing the tank. I prefer keeping smaller fish with discus.
Regards.

Thanks. i have umm..6 of them in there. only 2 are wilds. part of me kinda wants to trade in the domestic colored ones for a few more wilds but i like the color and how it breaks up the tank. seems to look really brown sometimes.

i love your bolivian rams! every time i find them they are totally drab... i've been seeing more and more ppl keeping them with very colorful specimens. i need to look into finding some quality bolivians.
