Some new toys I picked up - Mame Overflow and Solar-I

Hey guys, I picked up a Solar-l and a Mame overflow. I don't know if I'm going to use the Mane overflow on the 60p or the 45c same goes for the Solar-l. The Mame overflow was picked up from a local Texan who used it on his saltwater aquarium. He sold the Mame because it was too small for his new larger aquarium. The Solar-l was picked up from ADG, Frank had an Anniversary Edition left so I picked it up, thanks Frank

Here are a few teaser pics:

Do you have any information on long term use of the mame overflow? What has been your experience with reliability, etc? How does it compare to the lifereef or cpr?

I did a bunch of searching and most of what I came up with was from the barr report. Some info on co2 loss etc.

I have a contact in Japan that is willing to send this to me. It looks much nicer than the American alternatives but does not seem capable of handling much flow. I did see a youtube video that appeared to have them set up in sequence, but that would get expensive very quick!

i know this is an old thread but the Mame Design overflow looks very nice.

I see another application for the Mame OF or at least aportion of the OF. I would like to set up a continuous drip water exchange system on my nano tank and this overflow would work well but i don't need the return portion of the system.

Perhaps your contact in Japan could communicate my request/idea?

I may end up just making my own but the glass looks so nice!
