new layout after major thinning

This first photo is my 90g before thinning & replant, I really liked it but not much room for the fish. next three shots are what I came up with after studying some friends tanks & tanks I've seen on this site. I know it needs work but I always struggle with design & layout issues.
It has three light strips on timers (combo of pc & reg fluorescent) that come on & shut off 30 min apart for a total of 10 hrs of light. Substrate is 4inch of med gravel with laterite & ecocomplete layered at the base. Co2 is injected through a Magnum 350 canister filter, there is also a ugf with uprights cut short to reduce surface turbulence.

Wow! The new open layout will look great once it all grows in!

That was really some major thinning there. Love the look after the thinning. I am sure it will grow in nicely.

here is a update as of 8/18 not very Happy with the kliener bar and melon swords on the left side, added some fert tabs by their bases as I know swords are heavy root feeders. I have a kliener bar in a tank with soil in it's substrate and it grows much more robustly than these.

your water sprite (? center) looks like it is doing really well.

Thanks for the complements, that is Bacopa australis it's quite a robust stem plant & I love the light green color as it contrasts well with the other plants, it can be pruned to make a nice hedge also

Oct 6 update

took a update photo tonight, swords are getting a little bigger & the Kliner bar is even flowering although its still much smaller than its twin that grows in a soil mix substrate. The Marsilea is really starting to take off.
