Back in the hobby after an 11 year gap!!

My 3ft 150ltr tank, heavily planted 80c as it will house a couple of discus and rams.

It contains:

7x buenos aires tetra
3x ottos
3x danios
6x amano shrimp

The substrate is sand at the front with canyon rock forming a 'river bed' then gravel and plants to create a forest or jungle on the river banks.

Welcome back! I too just started back into the hobby after about the same amount of time. I forgot the joy of having a healthy, happy and lively planted tank. If I were you I would maybe put a line of foreground plants such as dwarf hairgrass in the front in the sand. Maybe not even over the entire amount but a line of it along the front of the rocks? Great start, keep us updated.

Always liked that transition from planted with rock to sand
