My 16 gallon 56 k pic

Well I've finally gotten around to taking some pictures and they are not very good. The picture of the tank is even on a bit of angle, but bear with me. Heres my my equipment list:

16 gallon All Glass bow front
lighting is 2 15 watts lights of America sunlight bulbs
substrate is plain black gravel
75 watt stealth heater
150 aqua clear filter run with sponges and bio-max
DIY CO2 w/hagen ladder
moon light 6 blue LEDs bought from digikits on ebay
Plants
Java Moss
Java Fern
Marimo Balls

Fauna
14 gold cloud minnows
1 albino bristlenose pleco
2 Apistogramma cacatuoides (a male and female)

I use 1.5 ml of excel a day and 1.5 ml of flourish twice weekly

I try to keep things simple because I am a busy person, but enjoy having a nice looking tank. I started out with a backdrop of hygro polysperma but grew to hate it because of the constant trimming, so I replaced it with some monster Java fern from my local fish store. It's a medium to low maintenance tank. I just do my 50 percent water change once a week, change out the CO2 (which is as easy as making a pot of coffee), and give it a squirt of excel after I have fed the fish. The apistos I have had for 3 weeks and they have become my favorites. Feeding then their frozen foods is kinda of a pain, but its worth it when they attack the oral syringe that I use to squirt their food on the bottom. Any comments or suggestions are welcome. You can even rip it shreds for all I care. I have been keeping fish for 4 years and started with planted tanks in January of 2006. I originally wanted to branch out to saltwater, but after learning many of the fish and corals are taken from the wild I decided that planted tanks were a more environmentally safe option.

Heres a full shot of the tank

How much was that tank I was thinking about switching from my 10g to that just to get the extra space without a whole new set up? If you dont want to say then I will find out at a store.

Umm.. do want to know the cost of the 16 gallon bow front tank? I think it was 69.99 a couple of years ago. It seems like alot now that I see how much a 10 gallon goes for. I wanted the tank because of the bow. I sold some collectibles off on ebay to raise the money for it. It was worth every penny.

hello!
the tank looks great... a lot nicer than i was expecting. i have a lot of respect for your ability to not stuff millions of different plant species in there; shows a lot of discipline. also it makes the layout more refined.
keep up the good work.

Thanks for the compliment, it was nice talking plants in the store. It is hard for me not to want to try out new plants, since I go down to The Fish Place about once a week to scope out what they have. I have been thinking of swapping out the marimo balls for anunibas petite, but I'm not sure. I just want to keep it simple and my lighting isn't the most high tech. I'm waiting till after I finish nursing school to get a larger tank. I think I'm going to go for 33 long, because I'm a midget and hate standing on a chair to plant things. I am kicking myself for not buying those amano shrimp yesterday. I'll probably go down there Monday and buy 3 or 4 big ones.

the breeder tanks are nice... more room to plant but not too deep. tha amanos: doesn't look like you have much algae... i've seen the amanos eat blackworms like hotdogs with their little claws when algae's sparse.
