Looks good; you must be pleased.
I would suggest moving the cucumber a little more to the right (J/K).
Is that a sword in front? If so, you may want to consider moving it before it gets too big (I have heard that they can make a real mess if you try to move them once their roots get massive).

In the next few weeks, I might suggest some L. repens for the back (to add a touch of red).
Is that a Myro sp. in the back left?

Lookin good! Changing the substrate improved it 1000%. That old stuff was hideous.

yeah i plan on switching the sword to the middle of the back when it gets bigger, but not before planting another fert tab. i have another plant back there, unidentified at the moment, that i will either move to the front there or between the val and the mondo grass. the cabomba is starting to flower and it looks sweet. i was also about putting a smaller plant with a reddish/purple tint up in the front to highlight the tank.

thanks. let me know when you do your next trimming. i'm looking for some glosso and maybe some riccia. i took out my last batch because it was too messy.

ps you can really tell how much the lighting and CO2 has affected my plants just by looking at the internodes on the cabomba and myrio.

you def can! I put my riccia to sleep...lol I had so much of it and the lawn ended up floating because of my busy little plecos, so I gave up. I don't have glosso either, just HC, dwarf hairgrass and Marselia spp for my foreground.
