A few pics of my pond (the reason for the season)

OK, the pond was re-done 2 years ago. It has 6 Koi(5-7") that call it home, along with frogs and every other animal that comes to water. We cleaned it out and filled it again last year and the gauge on the hose said the pond holds 1100 gallons of water (that was filling with the rock and everything in place). Filtration is carried out by a 4500gph pump and is pushed up to the waterfall tower which hold 4 (2ftx2ft filter pads and a big bag of carbon). Plenty of shade is given by the trees above etc...anyway here are the pics.

A junk early spring pic.

And the little guys that call this home

Nice pond, I've always wanted to have a pond in my back yard but my parents just haven't had the time or the motivation to do so. Our back yard is very messy unlike yours! all nice and clean cut grass! Fall is the worst time of year for any yard, all that raking!!! >_<

Anyways, great pond, love it!

Thanks. The Koi never try and go upstream. The water comes off the left stream into rocks and the koi would never make it further than the mouth. The right stream actually falls another 2 inches from a rock into the pond so the koi have no access that way either. They also have never gone into the skimmer box.

really nice looking pond. I like how the stones are placed as well as the stream, really gives the pond a natural look.

The Toureg is the parents winter car... I have the TT. You have a nice JTI...looks reflex silver. 1.8t or VR6? Are you on www.vwvortex.com? If so, pm me on there adamprice271.

To the others, thank you for the comments. Once I move out and get my own place, I am building a bigger pond that will be wasy more complicated. I have the plans made and everything, now all I need is a house with the right space.
