Markos First Wabi-Kusa

just tried making my first wabi kusa. used one of the wk balls i got from kiran, they held very nicely. added glosso, an e. parkeri, hydrocotyle, and a fern that popped up in my emersed setup. interested to see how they do.

I like the start, lots of room to play around as it grows in.
I think my problem with my "emersed bowl" was that I put too many plants in
from the get go, and now its a little crowded and chaotic. Best of Luck.

i actually like the look it gives off, a small orb of green in the bowl. looks ordered and neat, unlike my tanks which tend to look more crowded.
i think once the glosso grows in, and the pennywort grows a few more leaves, itll look about right.
ill keep you guys updated.

i added a small mound of AS under it, helps keep it steady, and it covers the ugly white sticker that i couldnt get off. the mound doesnt reach the edges though, i like the look of the bowl extending past the scape - if you can call it a scape.

nice. i like it it's different. i think giving it room to grow out isn't a bad idea. curious to see how this works out!

not doing to well... the e. parkeris leaves are yellowing, and new growth is minimal on the glosso. i blame the water. its the same brunswick tap water that im suspecting is giving my 20 long plants Mg toxicity. fortunately me noticing this, makes me less suspicious of my 20 long being a CO2 issue, cuz these plants are not limited with CO2 at all.

Yup, I almost forgot I'd sent you one (or more? I forgot!). And yes, that is what it's supposed to do
