Some shots of my Tetras...

I had post yet in other my thread one curious photo of my biggest Tetra Congo (3 years old – 10 cm.), but nobody had replay to my joke…!?
Now, before to continue with other my Tetras, I want to share a few more photos of her and hope you will be more interesting in…

What do you think – is this cousin of Piranha seems enough pretty evil…

Nice photos. I really like congos. I had some in the past before I kept plants. I wanted to get some more but I read they tear up plants. Do you have yours with plants?

Yes! Another AQUASAUR photo thread, great pics as usual. Those teeth look seriously vicious. Since this is the "tetra thread," what other species are you going to post? The detailed pictures are nice, sometimes it's difficult to closely examine a fish when it's swimming all over the place and begging for food.

Hi, zephyr!
I haven't got any "plant problems" with my Tetras Congo too...
I was show yet that my bigest Discus tank in my "Rainbows" thread...
That's another pic:

It's just very difficult to see the Congos and Rainbows between my huge and plentyfull of Didcus...
Oh, I found that older photo, where it seems more of them:

I want to finish Congo’s part of that thread with some shots of my Tetra Congo Gold.
First, one photo of Tetra Congo female to make any compares with “gold” variety:

Tetra CONGO Gold female:

As you see, the “golden” nuance is always in combination with other reflecting colors from the tanks interior…

Tetra CONGO Gold male:

Actually, would you mind coming over to my house? There's a few of my fish that I'd really like a good picture of... I'll even cook you dinner! Next time you're in Indiana, USA let me know!

My daughter Gabby saw that tread and upbraid me for that I was present one of her also favorite T.Congo fishes,
like very ugly and horrible…
That because, I promised her to finish really that part of T.Congo with something “beautiful”…
Taking these shots, I had try to catch more details and to a nicety colors of the fishes…

That is one curious result:
The next 2 pictures are not cropped!
On the first, I tried to frame the pair in the center with enough space around…
but then all the fishes details aren’t seem so clear…

On the second photo, just a few millimeters closer and centred only the male – the details are much expressive…

The other curious was about the lightning(flashing)…
You may compare the difference between - shooting with a flash above the tank...
and shooting straight in front the fish... with this two close ups:

The colors are real, not photoshoped…What do you think about…!?

Continuing with another my favorite Tetras - veiltail Hyphessobrycon callistus callistus
Growing up, they are not much spectacular, but being adult – they are attractive and beautiful…:

That’s one crop showing their typical feature – the veil tail and fins elegancy…

I got 9 of them and they just don’t much visible between all other Discus, Rainbows, Tetras…
But they zone the tank, and every male watching for his own territory very strictly…
Only sometimes, some female, goes to cross that borders and coquette in front the dominant male…

The other guys just jealous gaping…:

But don’t forget – they are the cousin of Piranha too…
if you make them angry – just see how they look... ...
