108 gallon setup

I finally have my 108 gallon tank up and running. Here are a couple of pictures. I am still searching for more plants so it's still a bit bare.

That's an awesome set up! How long did it take to install and get set up?

The metal trim is an excellent look, certainly not the norm! Will you fill us in with the other specifics of your tank; substrate, filtration, CO2, etc?

I see you keep the wet vac close by..

Cheers,
Marty

Not being very handy I hired someone to do the work for me. He spent about 10 hours on the construction part, this also included do some electrical work as well. The tank is sitting on a 6 inch base made of 2x6's and concrete.

The tank is in the basement, that is the unfinished part next to the furnace.

Substrate - 160lbs of eco-complete
Filtration - 2 x Fluval 404s
CO2 - in the process of getting that going
Tank - Hagen 108 gallon (60x18x24)
Lights - 4x65W 6500K CF - 8 LED moonlights

As for the wet vac, I never appreciated the irony of having that in the picture. It was just there for cleaning up after the construction.

Very nicely done! I'd be afraid that I'd never get any work/play done on the PC with a tank like that right beside me!
