The set-up is :-

amano shrimps x 15 and otos x 7
x 2 bedford pencil, x 3 glasscat, x 3 black skirt tetra, x 5 H. Rasbora, x 3 platy

Sorry about the poor photo quality (1st time)

Add new pics taken 4/20/06

Reduce background plants from 9 to 8. Remove Myriophyllum mattogrossense as it is growing too fast.

Buddy you have a GREAT startup going there!!!!! I REALLY LIKE all the different plants, and the way they are settup! You wil be doing ALOT of trimming when things get growing fast though, but stick with it and it will keep on looking good!!

I like the plants and layout but I think the driftwood is somehow too "light." Maybe a darker Malaysian wood?

In no aquariums for a while.....

it is a low cost light set-up - 3 sets of 2 x 40 watt shop light fixture that i got from Home Depot for $7.99 each. T12 flourescent bulb is the Philips 6500K type (2 for $5.99)

yes, i felt the same about the light color on the driftwood but it was a free gift by a grower at Napa Valley and it look very nice. I am hoping that the Taiwan moss and java moss will get growing and cover more of the driftwood.

Hey Andrew, looks great! Should start to look even better with the pressurized system. Time to start trimming soon...
