hey i love that raised part, really awesome. However i really think you need a pile of small rocks or something in the open space or a lot of foreground plant like glosso to fill it in.

i plan on getting glossso or a type of low grass, any suggestions on a grass that stays small and is aqautic?

id just stick with well planted glosso, i havnt had good experiences with hair grass. You could try that or some riccia..

I'm not the biggest fan of anacharis. I'd change it out for baby tears or something of the type. I agree with some type of foreground plant. What's your equipment specs? I know glosso needs high light and CO2 to spread horizontally, otherwise it will just grow upwards and not acheive the effect you'd probably want.

alligator alley in wis dells, a friend of mine owns it. it is actually 4 peices that i stacked together and i think it is a type of root. what do you think of the overall setup?
