My other photo thread was mostly about my 55, so I figured I'd start a seperate one for my 30.
Here's what it looked like a couple of months ago:
I collected this wood, but I think it was giving me BBA problems.
So I replaced it with a piece of bogwood.
Here it is now.
I only boiled the bogwood briefly because I wanted to keep some tannins for my turquoise rainbows.
So the water is quite dark.
The tank is low-light with DIY CO2.
I'm going mostly with crypts and anubias - in fact, I just picked up c. lutea and ciliata from a fish show, so I'm probably going to pull all of the hygro from the back left.
3 turquoise rainbows
1 F blue ram (I've lost 2 Males)
2 julii corys
5 glow-light tetras
1 albino bristlenose
a. nana petite
red sunset hygro
(I'll eventually be removing the bottom 4)
I'll post another pic after I plant my new crypts.
On preview, the pics look crappier than I had thought - tho the lighting is pretty low and uneven.
I'll try to work on my photo skills as well.
