12 Gallon Eclipse

Here are a few pics of the new tank. It should look this way for a little while. Until I decide to add more Java Ferns. Also, I have to put up my black background, but havent had time b/c of vacation.

Full tank:

King of the tank:

And others:

This is the 1st tank I have had with a decent variety of plants. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. Thanks to everyone here for the help.

Your Kuhli Loach looks awesome! I have one just like that. He is at least 5 years old and has survived through all of my trials and tribulations.

It appears that you have two kuhlis. One with more black than the other. Nice setup. Your gravel looks a bit large, what exactly are you using as the substrate? Also, did you have to get a new light for your 12? I have a 6 and I'm thinking about setting it back up but with a new light. I had to tear it down because sheets of algae started to grow on everything and I couldn't control it. I'm talking "SHEETS".

Substrate - Just because I really liked it. Wanted to go more natural looking and couldnt find anything smaller that fit what I wanted. I cant remember who packaged it, but I just found it at the LFS.

Kuhlis - Actually have 3 in there. They all look pretty close. If they would all come out of hiding for comparison I could let you know better. Doubt that will happen though

Lighting - AHSupply 2x13 delux lighting kit. Hopefully I will be able to control my algae growth. Have 4 amano shrimp and 3 ottos to help with it. So together I hope to conquer the algae.

Camera - Sony F828. 8mp
