How big is it? because i dont think that angelfish would be too happy.

Nice aquascaping though, looks great. Just though a better choice of fish would be in order.

its been a long time since i updated, using a new photo editing program, and im just getting my feet wet. apologies to any sfbaaps'rs who have to see this twice.

tank has been setup over a year now and I just recently started adding iron bottom and multi bottom after i upgraded the tank to 180watts per gallon.

any feedback is welcome!

and yes, that is a clump of stalling java fern and bolbitis attached to some manzanita. both plants are not doing well, and im not sure why. maybe the aquasoil kills ferns??? hehehehe.

What kind of plant is that on the foreground? Your tank looks very nice especially the twigs on the right.

the foreground is Elatine triandra, burying a bunch of downoi.

the twigs are manzanita, and they are supposed to be supporting some java fern or bolbitis, but supersoft water doesn't grow ferns too well for me.

thanks for the look!

The foreground sure is nice and lush, looks really natural and I like the way it gets higher and spreads closer to the back in the middle of the tank. What are your water parameters? (And btw, your PM box is full )

Are you dosing ferts into the water column?

I have ferns and AS but dose ferts and I can't keep my ferns from mass producing! Great looking tank btw!

no.. its a 2x55/65watt cf, and a 70watt DIY MH. 180watts total... but its staggered so the 70 watts are only running 5 hours per day, and the CF runs 10 hours.
