Looks really nice! Need to know a bit about the lighting to suggest foreground plants, but some cryptocorye wedtii would stay low for a while under low light!

The red plant looks (in color) just like the Alternanthera sp. I just got. The green plant kinda looks like java fern, but hard to tell with high exposure on picture. Is it a rooted plant, stem, or rhizome?

hi esarkipato thanks for the compliment!
the lighting is the standard 11w 8000k pc that came with the tank.

the red plant does look like the Alternanthera sp you mentioned, but the green plant though is definitely not java fern, as it has a rooted stem.

I can't really think of any foreground suggestions, but I think the green plant looks like Giant Hygro.

The green plant behind the wood is Hygrophila Corymbosa.

I have it in my own tank here and love it. It's my favourite plant at the moment because it grows so well but stays so bushy. It's a stem plant which is nowhere near as fast growing as normal stems in terms of height. It does grow fast but it's growth is nearly all leaves and so stays compact and bushy. More a 'woody' type stem plant than a 'soft' stem.

Mine are in strong light, so I'm not sure how yours will go with your light, but it should actually grow in no time to be the main feature of your tank as a large central bush.

I'm also a huge fan of H. corymbosa! Awrieger, you have it growing nicely. So dense and bushy! I'm currently growing it in about 2.5wpg and it grows nicely enough. Finding it to enjoy lots of CO2 and nutrients. I'm currently waiting for a nice branchy stem to fill out with it's sideshoots.

Ive had that plant for almost half a year now and had it in my old puffer tank with about the same lighting intensity and it was really nice! in the end that tank got a leak so i got this one intead. i like it much better now how it is.

heres a pic of the old tank before it got tore down

the hygro plant was futher to the right though
that was my first attemptat a planted tank few months ago. most of the plants in there gradually died off as i didnt know about the lighting requirements or ferts back then! even the anubias died lol i dont know how
