My 60gal Exotic Planted Tank

Hi all,

After browsing this photo album forum for a while and also learning how to directly add pictures into the thread,i was pretty eager to showcase my planted tank and quickly went in search for my old photo files...err well ..not that old.

Here is a picture of my 60gal tank mid of last year.

This planted tank was set up with the intention
for shrimps only planted tank.The fishes was taken off later.
It is covered with anubias nanas,taiwan moss,some downois,toninas.

My Wild Diamond Shrimp

My Coral Pencil fish

My Crystal Red Shrimp

My Bee Shrimp

Wow, really great shots! I love the tank, the shrimp, the pencil, ALL of it!

What are the dimensions of a 60 gal? Looks like you've at least created the perception of a lot of depth!

Hi, thanks for the Wow!! The tank is 4x1.5x1.5feet.

I try to make the focus point on the left and make a mountain effect out of it.

The specifications as follows:

Lightings - 8 tubes PL x 36Watt
Substrate - ADA soil Amazonia
Co2 - 4~6bps
Ph -maintain at 6.2
2 Canister filters
Temp -24~26degC


Will try to update more newer pictures of my new rescape.

Hi Jdinh04,There are many different plants inside...to name all those plants inside the tank will need many kill many of my braincells..haha..but i am sure taiwan moss and nanas are the main attraction then...and oh the downois as well.

Alternatively you can refer to my http://sg.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/xbo.../ph//my_photos for the plants that i currently keep.
