Talking Đank's Photo Album *!*Super Dial-up Warning*!*

I've been putting off starting an album thinking I would get really organized first. I realized it isn't going to happen. There won't be a grand opening or anything, I can always go back later and make it look nice. In a few days I will start the build of another tank but first some pictures and fish from my 75. So here we go

I will save the details of this picture and see if anyone can guess what is going on. Don't bother with the fish species - that's not the interesting part. Let's see who wins...

Well, it's a baby something. Did you breed it yourself?

You're right Lorenceo!!

That is a baby swordtail/mosquito fish in my Filstar xp3 filter. There are actually a couple in there. I saw them earlier and found it amusing. I knew someone would recognize the background.

I moved six Microgeophagus ramirezi from the qt into the 75 today. That means the giant danios got the boot. I've had them a long time and wanted to keep a few but I couldn't see them crammed into a 20g. Most had grown quite large and they all ate like piranhas. Click on the picture of my giant danio to see killerbee's video of these guys eating. He did a great job.

I will introduce the new rams soon.

Thanks for the compliment Dank and i recently traded mine in to my LFS as well. I think they had been messing with my ottos so they had to go. I now have 9 Bleeding heart tetrasand 11 ottos (i think, they are so hard to find).

The sad news is i lost that beautiful ram to unknown causes. Had him for nearly 4 months.

I think I have found the wood I am going to use in my 20.

I thought it looked cool like this on its side.

I found this wood at a place that sets up fountains and ponds. They have big tubs or rocks on the super cheap. Like a few miles away some people are spending 9.99lb for rocks that are 29¢ at this place! And they had tons of awesome wood. Some pieces were large enough for 200g tanks easy. My piece was $10. I wept loudly for quite some time at the beauty of some of the large pieces.

It floats like a balloon. Lucky for me I had a rope, sweet DIY anchor, and a lake nearby....a little rigging with a knot no one could ever repeat. ever.

And tada!

More to come in a few minutes but I have to add a warning to the thread name

Wild caught plants

As long as the ground is really wet this will grow over the grass.

The angle of the sun sucked for pics and with my polarized lens-less sony digi it was hard to see into the water

But some Macguyver-like brainskills helped me solve the problem.

I tried a few techniques to fix the problem with little success.

I liked this one the best

Too many pictures??
