Talking Tank updates: my anti journal threads

Mkay so here is an update on my stuff. nothing to much to report expect good news i guess.

the shrimp bowl which was a big hit last time i posted has been taken down. the shrimp were reproducing to much and needed room to go so in the 20 gallon they went. which is where the updates start.

20 long, has done alittle work on it since last time. couple of the large apogentons were starting to get yellowed leaves so i removed them. i also removed a bunch of the baby plants cause i feared they were hogging too much nutrients fom the other plants i care more about. to fill the hole that was left by the apogenton i filled it with a rotala plant from ym 5 gallon, some clippings of ludwigia, and covered the "hill" with my hygro that seems to think its a ground cover. i also have a small amount of dwarf sag in there now for a lawn when it gets around to sending more runners and i also have added a pencilfish ( cant find them around here for the life of me ), a school of black neons and a female flag fish who is doing some minor work to algae. here is a link to the picture of it now..20 long current.

moving on i go to the 55 gallon. it has had some changes since i last posted it. the plants are deciding what to grow and what wont grow. cyrpts and lillies are groing well, along with water sprite and the mystery plants. the repens and wisteria havent made up their minds to die or not. if all these plants fail me i am going to fill the tank with lillies and driftwood and let it just do its thing. anyway, there are now 5 discus in there and everyone is happy. enjoy the pics.

looks pretty good. I see a little pretty plant in the left of your tank (under the heater) What kind of plant is that ? It looks like . . . on the rocks or woods . .
