I like it alot! I think everything will fill in nice, and the right corner (is that watersprite or wisteria?) will grow fast. My taste is a green foreground, but maybe you have something different in mind. Keep us updated.

I'm interested in that tank, what are the dimensions, and where did you buy it?

andrewwl,

On the right side of the tank is Wisteria. It is growing in well. Not really tall but filling in all the little gaps. As for the forground I am thinking Glosso. Maybe sometime after Christmas. I am either going to have to have my work make a special order or find it online.

The tank is a 40 gallon long. 48X12X16 I bought it from a kid that lived next door to me last year at college. He had it posted up on a Student run web site and one of my house mates found it on there. I paid 40 bucks for the tank and lids, plus he helped me carry it next door!

One more thing about the tank.

It is basicly a 55 gal. that is a bit shorter. You should be able to find it at your LFS or have them order it.

Looks good. It is difficult to give these tanks a feeling of depth... I have one with the same dimensions, but in the process of taking it down.

One thing you might want to consider is adding a tad of red... As a focal point... maybe a little sword, or Alternanthera, or whatever floats your tank.

I have some Sunset Hygro in there but it is pretty new so it doesn't really jump out at you yet. I am thinking of some sort of cryp right now to replace my mellon sword. I kind of want something darker that is bushier.

looks nice

I have a similar tank. It's 45 gal, 48" long 18" wide 12" tall. Haven't gotten to planting it yet, I have big plans for it.

chadly,

I would really like to be running your tank instead of mine. Every tank that I have is only 12 inches wide. I really don't like that. Next time I get a tank it is going to be at least 18 inches.

I am probably going to be doing a bit of a re-plant here in the next couple of weeks. I will post some pictures as soon as I can.
