This has been asked many times and I have yet wonder why there isn't a thread stickied about it.

There are 2 ways to attach images to your post, 1; attach images directly from your computer if you are a supported member. You can attach images by clicking on the "manage attachments" button, then you can browse and upload your images. 2; you will have to find a free image hosting website; www.photobucket.com is great! once you have upload your images onto a different host, get the URL (the link of the image) and use the IMG tags which is [IMG]place URL of image here[/IMG] , thats all.

This should help: Photo Posting Directions for paying members

Hmm maybe I'll right something similar for FAO section of the forum for those who are not members and use photobucket or imageshack, etc. Personally I don't like stickies b/c they "junk" up the various forums. Look at APC, and you'll see what I mean..hehe.

Best of Luck,

the KIDD

Absolutely!

We try to keep stickies to a minimum.

Posting Images using Free hosting sites: Photobucket.com & Imageshack.us

I'm a visual learner, so when people told me to copy such and such, and paste it between [IMG], I didn't quite understand. After I thought about it more, and after trial and error, I realized photoposting WAS as simple as copy this and stick it between that.
Photobucket.com and Imageshack are popular free photohosting Sites. There are pros and cons of both, but here's the basic gist.

Photobucket.com allows multiple image uploads, but has a limit to how many pictures you can upload. But you can always open another account if necessary.
ImageShack.us has unlimited uploading capacity, but you have to upload 1 picture at a time. Imageshack also allows one to thumbnail their photos.

Pick whichever hosting site you prefer.
Here is a HOW TO in posting from these two sites.

This is how you post a photo in your thread if your using PHOTOBUCKET.COM.

1) Register with photobucket.com
2) Upload pictures
3) After finishing upload, you'll be directed to your album, and it'll look like the picture below

4) Copy everything in the Box that the RED ARROW is pointing to: [IMG]http:/i31.photobucket....[IMG]
5) Paste that into your post
6) Your picture is now linked from your photobucket album
7) Preview Post to see if you done it correctly
8) Finish writing your posting and submit!

3) After finishing upload, find your album, and it'll look like the picture below

4) Copy everything in the Box that the RED ARROW is pointing to: [IMG]http://img59.imageshack.us....[IMG]
5) Paste that into your post
6) Your picture is now linked from your imageshack album
7) Preview Post to see if you done it correctly
8) Finish writing your posting and submit!

Imageshack also allows you to thumbnail your pictures,

1) Copy everything that the BLUE ARROW is pointing to
