Thanks.
I think the 30 has promise.
Still not quite sure where I'm going with the 55 - not that that blurry photo really shows anything.

The 30 is relatively low light - I've removed several plants that weren't doing well. Now it is mainly crypts (wendtii/balensae), anubias (nana, congensis, barteri), and java fern, with some bacopa, parrot's feather, and penny wort across the back, and dwarf sag front and center.

Over the past couple of months I divided much of what is in there - both to share with others, and to start up my 55. And I removed all the plants that weren't doing well. Seeing if some of them do better in the higher light in my 55. But that's why the 30 looks a little sparse. I'm expecting things to look better and better as the plants that are in there start taking off.

I think I'd like to add 1-2 different plants as accents in that tank. Any suggestions for species and placement? I've not had great luck in that tank with ludwigias, marselia quadrifolia or rotala indica. And there's no red in there - other than the reddish c. wendtii in 2 places.
