Liz's 20L Random Style

Heyo everyone

I finally have..almost..everything ready to start my 20g long tank. This design has no purpose or plan or anything. Just what I think looks nice! And of course I am still learning so it is far from perfection. Anywho

Aqueon 20l
Aquaclear 70 HOB (penguin 100b atm)
Ebay LED lights eventually..two 13watt CFLs for right now
No CO2 for now
Substrate is Flourite Black Sand and I like it a lot!

Water Sprite
Moss..various mosses..
Anubias sp.
Hygro Stricta
Crypt wendtii
African Water Fern
Windelov Java Fern

Osmocote+ root tabs
Flourish Comprehensive
Flourish Iron
Flourish Trace

Celestial Pearl Danio x10
Cherry Shrimp ~30-35
Corydoras Hasbrosus x10
Zebra Nerite x2
Horned Nerite x2-3
Pond Snails however many are lucky enough to be sitting on a plant when it gets moved over from the 10g

Day 1:

Put in the substrate and some aquascaping rocks. I know some people don't like the mix of driftwood and these rocks (seiryu?) but whatever.
No water yet...okay there is a spot of water where I spilled some.

Going to petsmart to get a new sponge for the AQ70 so I can put the dirty one in the other filter to cycle it while I figure out how I'm going to get everything from one tank to the other.

just because no one responded doesnt mean people are snobs, and doesnt automatically raise you above those people.

it merely means that people don't see that there is much to comment on. and in truth, there isn't.

Generally speaking, you ought not to put a hard scape dead center as it goes against the "golden ratio" which is used to determine if something is naturally pleasing to the eye. Most often it should go 1/3 of the way from an edge.

of course, that all depends on what the plant layout will be as well. I've seen some gnarly center based layout.
