My 12G Eclipse (56k warning!)

well, here is the progress of my 12 gal eclipse that i've had running for a couple weeks now... First thing i did was install the ahsupply 36w retro kit...This is my first attempt at a planted aquarium, although i have had numerous fw / sw tanks, but they were mostly fish tanks.... anyway...suggestions welcome... just go easy on a newbie...

About the earliest photo i took... pretty bare...

Got my plants in!... too bad i didn't realize how big an amazon sword really was.... much less 2.....

decided to rescape again... even the single amazon sword looks odd in this little tank.. so i got rid of it.... and added some rotala

My current setup; taken tonight....

yeah, they pick on the balansae more than anything, you can actually see some of the parts they nibbled off in that last pic... But im not too worried about them doing enough damage to matter, i figure it's probably a good thing as far as varying their diet...

I like this tank The plants look healthy and a nice vivid green. I especially like the 'scape in the second picture. What do you plan on stocking it with?

Very nice. I like the rock you picked out for it, adds a lot of contrast with the soft plants around it.

heh, yeah that does look like a rock, however it is actally a piece of driftwood covered in the gray dust from the onyx... but algae is quickly taking it over along with the moss...

looks great. I also have a 12 gallon eclipse tank which I bought before I got into planted tanks. could you direct me as to how to install the 36 watt lighting? That's been my main problem with the tank.
