Sadly, I have neglected my tank for the last couple of months. I thought I'd post this picture before I made with the scissors.
Okay I went in and hacked everything back. Now that I look at the pictures, it doesn't look all that different. Surprising, since I took a whole lot of stuff out.
At least you can see the Crinum again. For some reason it is very important that the crinum touches all four cornenrs of the tank.
Also, I managed to divide my Echinodoru barthii
in two, which is good news because I think that means it was doing well. I hated topart with half of it, but I needed to clear out some real estate. The removed plants all got donated to someone, but I don't realy know where they ended up.
And just for the hell of it, here is a picture of the cichlid from my other tank. it's not technically a planted tank, it's just a tank where I throw odd bits of plants. but they seem to grow well in there.
