Alex’s 40G

Hi! This is my aquarium and I would like some advice on how to improve the look of it.

Very nice tank! But....the rocks look like they were dug up during the planting then forgotten to be removed when the planting was done I'd use a bigger
more striated rock off center, or a driftwood piece. The limnophila on the
left looks leggy, needs pruning (as well as the hygrophila in the center).

Just my 2c, still looks very nice,

Looks nice i like how you got the crypt i believe growing out of the rocks, very nice effect. Tank looks good but the limnophila does look a bit leggy. Well done.

Please give us more information on your tank specifications that allows us to help you more. As I can see the left side, the plants looks leggy due to suppliment of CO2, it was discussed in one of aweriger's thread...

Yes I agree I have to trim it, I will do it tomorrow, I thought it was a cabomba but now your are two to say it is a limnophila, I check in a book they do look the same. As for the driftwood I gave up it was always getting cover with algae but for the moment I haven't find a rock who catched my eyes.

Ok my tank is 40G:
100Watt lighting
Pressurised CO2 / 30PPM

I dose 2.5gr KN03/ 0.2gr K2PO4/ 2gr K2S04 3 time a week and 5ml Flourish 3 time a week to.
40% WC/week
