Exclamation Looking to rescape my aquarium... please help with ideas!

Well this is how my aquarium looks up to now, and im not real happy with the way it is looking, it looks too.... BLA! I want it to really stand out, so what is some things i could do to it to make it really look better than it does right now? As of now i am slowly replacing the dwarf sag with p. gayi because dwarf sag grows way too quickly for me and i like the look of a clean glosso lawn. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Personally I really like the jungle look where the plants reach all the way to the top of the tank. Although it definately looks best when only a certain part of the tank is like that and not all of it. Another idea - hid the filter intake with some plants. Is there any equipment behind your jungle now? If not either move the filter to the right or the plants to the left.

I think you should just remove the Hygro (throws the scale off to me), and let the foreground grow in some more. It will look great with a full foreground.

I agree ... small aquariums should have plants with small leaves.
