Neglected 40 Breeder

I recently rescaped this tank. It lives at my dad's house, so I don't see it for a couple weeks at a time usually.

black river rocks, manzanita, NLJF, christmas and peacock moss, mini pellia.

One of the flashier residents. I'm still working on my fish pictures, 50 shots and this is the only one that turned out. The Japan blue endlers share the tank with a small school of neons, and a Koi angel for population control.

I'm thinking about getting a canister filter some time in the future, and thinning out the endlers a bit to add some more tetras. I've wanted glow lights and black neons for the longest time.

Looks good in a minimalistic way. Those rocks are cool where did you get them?

They're originally from AFA, but I got them second hand from another hobbyist.

Nice blue endler! If you do thin them out, how much would you sell them for?

Yeah, I love the endlers! I also think it would look cool if you packed the tank with moss.

The branches are eventually going to turn into giant fuzzy spider legs with the mix of moss and mini pellia, it's even adhering to the rocks in some places.

I'm considering adding some vals to the background, or possibly some microsword or e. tennellus around the rocks in the midground, or even, god forbid, my mortal nemesis, some crypts.

Cute scape - you should flesh the back out with some vallisneria or e. vivipara or more tall crypt-name-I-can-never-remember-but-I-know-it-when-I-see-it-and-its-not-retrospiralis

There are some vals in there, but this tank is so slow growing that It'll take some months before they fill in. Vivipara is nice but I doesn't really fit the tank.

Hey Dollface, have you seen the skinny Vals yet? They would be cool in here. I havent seen them on the SnS yet but I have about 8 plants I could trade you. Or Balansae for that matter.

Not sure. These vals already seem to be thinner than most other vals I've seen, any skinnier and it'd be hair grass.
