This will be my first aquascape for a larger tank, so I'd appreciate your help with scaping/equipment suggestions (and advice on where to buy good rocks for this style of tank)
I've made a poor drawing in paint (since photoshop decided not to work
) that shows the scape I'm planning- different colors represent different species of plants. I'm trying to figure a better way to transition between the foreground and background (for which I think I might use Val, but I have no clue yet). The second scape will be a cheaper scape (I believe the large rocks will be very expensive).
Please help with equipment too! I haven't bought anything yet, so any criticism is appreciated.
40B tank with DSM method
Substrate: MTS + 3M Quartz cap
Filter: SunSun (unsure on the model yet)
Lighting: Odyssey 36" (2x 39W T5HO)OR the Aqueon Coralife 36"
CO2: DIY at first, pressurized later
Fauna: 1 angel, Cory x10, Otox5, Hatchetfish x12, Rummynose x12
