How often do you have water change for the planted discus tank. I am planning to have some discus but always heart that discus need water change every day! I am wondering the frequency can be decreased in a planted tank.

i change 1/2 the water weekly which takes 15 minutes. at the same time i do the pruning. i guess it's a high tech low maintenace tank.

Cool another planted Discus tank! Very Amano-like. It reminds me a lot at first glance of the one in book 3 with the Blue Discus.

Maybe I missed it, but how many gallons is that? How long has it been up and running? How is it working out with feedings? Are they able to get the food OK with the filled out substrate- which is gorgeous by the way.

What other fish do you have there. I see some Cardinals? Anything else?

Really nice looking tank.
