Shane3fan's "Green Grass and High Tides" 50 gallon breeder

This tank is just in the starting stages. Ive got a hardware list and a general idea of what I want. No plant list or anything yet.

OK--got impatient and instead of starting a new 40B like I had planned, I tore down one of my current tanks--a 50g breeder. It is similar to a 40b-just two inches taller. I had it packed with sword plants and crypts--took them all out and tossed them--I know, I shouldve sold them, but some of them had BBA on them and I just didnt have the heart to pass that on to someone else.

Special credit to anyone who gets the reference of the name of this tank

Hardware ;

Rena XP3
Hydor inline heater
Tek 4x39w fixture with Geissman bulbs
Aquarium plants.com substrate 2 year old Aquasoil ( with Jobes "palms and ferns" root fert sticks )
pressurized CO2
Green leaf dry ferts--gonna dose EI on this one like the rest of my tanks.

Undecided on critters-but Im leaning toward Green neons, some Peacock Gudgeons, some zebra Otos and some Pygmy Corydoras ( gotta do some research on which ones I want--want them to stay on the bottom )

This tank was already (over)stocked with;

11x Bloodfin tetra
4x Cardinal tetra
11x Bronze Corydoras
2x Bolivian Rams
1x Ancistrus 'bristlenose' pleco
1x Clown pleco
1x 'creamsicle' sailfin Molly

I plan a 'dutch' layout with this tank. Something like this is the hopes--note--these are NOT my tanks--I dig em though ;

current flora list ;

Rotala magenta
Echinodorus Angustifolia 'vesuvias'
Ozelot sword
Nymphaea zenkeri 'Red'
Bacopa australis
Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis'
Ambulia
Limno aromatica
Myriophyllum sp.
Lindernia sp. India
Ranunculus inundatus
Ludwigia sp red
Mayaca fluviatilis
Eichornia diversifolia
Hygrophila sp 'Tiger'
Hygrophila sp 'Bold'
Staurogyne sp 'Porto Velho'
Neseae triflora
Blyxa japonica
hygro pinnatifida
bolbitus 'mini'

Updated top post with current info. I dont have any pics, still working out placement of some of the plants and letting stuff grow in.

I will say, the Tek lights make a HUGE difference in growth from my plants. I had 2 Coralife T5NO dual bulb fixtures over this tank before ( total of 84 watts ) Now I have 2x39w for 8 hours and a two hour burst of 4x39w---the plants are turning red already and growing like crazy. I just hope algae doesnt show up later.
