Restarted my Mr Aqua 11 gallon

After getting back to school, i decided to restart my Mr Aqua 11 gallon with a different look. Instead of doing HC, which never really grew well for me, I decided to use dwarf hair grass belem as a foreground. Also, I decided to go with wood instead of stones for decoration.

Anyway, the tank specs are

11.4 Gallon Mr. Aqua

Lighting is a 36 watt Archae pc

Substrate is MTS with a flourite cap

Filtration is an eheim 2211.

CO2 is paintball at 2-3 bubbles per second

Flora will be DHG belem, Java fern, bolbitis, and maybe some moss of some kind.

Fauna will be RCS, a couple danio erythromicron(if the fry that I see in my tank survive. they were unexpected to say the least), and Sparkle eye white cloud minnows.

For ferts, I am using the rootmedic liquid dosing solutions of micro and macro three times a week as directed by the bottle.

So far, I have all the DHG planted to my satisfaction. the bolbitis and java fern are just floating around the tank for now and will be like that until I receive my Manzy from pc1. once that is here, I will tie the bolbitis and java fern onto the would. As far as fauna, i have everything already in the tank except the minnows. I should be getting those sometime this week from msjinkzed.

I'll be posting photos in a bit, please tell me what you think so far of my dorm tank.

That's what I'm doing with my 95G now since junior year is lurking in a few months. Gonna go with anubias, crypts and moss.

True lol. I think he was just referring to the plants being lower requirement. Like the java fern and bolbitis

I ordered some java moss in preparation to put it on the wood that I think should be arriving soon. But since the wood is shipping via parcel post... who knows when it will finally get here.

But still I hope that it will arrive soon. That way the bolbitis and java fern will finally be anchored as well.

oh and as I side note, the fish were really jumpy and scared every time I move around the tank. Due to this, they were always schooling together in a tight ball towards the back corner of the tank. Now, while I can't say that they are calm little fish, they do seem to be taking my presence near the tank better. They do school almost immediately when I move towards the tank, but they fall out of formation quickly and return to their own business. I hope that in future I will be able to approach the tank without causing any flight response behavior.
