Fluval Spec

So i recently traded a tank i got for a fluval spec. Right now it is set up just circling water through the filter as i decide what to do with it. I had a tetra H-10 that i was no longer using so i stuffed it inside the filter compartment above the pump.

I'm growing narrow leaf java fern, java moss, crypt. parva, a moss ball, and recently added fissidens fontanus, the LED lighting works well for growing these especially the java fern with no ferts or co2

ok, latest update: put in 3 tiger endlers (1male, 2 female) and i had some subwastertang i bought, but it wouldnt anchor, so i swapped it for a java fern. Also put a zebra rock in from the LFS. And a tetra-10 heater. Pics at a later time. Oyea, and i put one cherry shrimp in it, cause i thought he looked sick (was turning white at the time) he is till alive 2 days later, and not white anymore

Looks pretty good. What other plant ideas are you considering for your Spec?

is the java fern tied to something or just sitting in the substrate?

i have a plant anchor on it, so its just sitting with the weight at the bottom. Should be adding driftwood soon. Thanks for the feed back everyone. This is my first nano tank. The single RCS looks healthy and i could probably move him back, but he seems to like the fern alot

That RCS is probably munching on the biofilm that is growing there.

Fish Shrimp tanks are like cups of coffee, one is never enough.
