ACE's New 20L

Ive decided to set up a aquarium for my mother so here's what ive got so far.

Tank: 20g Long
Lighting: dual bulb 24" t5 (1-24w 6500k bulb and 1-24w 10,000k)
Substrate: ~2" of flourite
PLants: Jungle vals, anubias nana, coffee anubias , java fern, crypt parva.
Fish:n/a (waiting for cycle)

future plans: im still looking into a better foreground plant and i have some java moss that needs attaching to the larger piece of wood. I may play around with the position of the small anubias that i have tied to wood on the left. Ill probably be keeping to a 3 species tank. Something like 6-8 Corydoras habrosus. Some sort of small schooling fish, im thinking clouds, rasboras, neon tetras or something similar. I would really like to get some version of hatchet fish to play around in the vals when they get bigger or ill throw in some floaters.

Any ideas/comments are welcome, and yes that is fish food lying around. Im just trying to give the cycle a little jump start.

added some more plants. ive never had the chance to play with riccia so i decided to give that a shot. I had a old fish net lying around so i covered the riccia with pieces cut from that and tied it down to some spots on the larger piece of wood. I hope the holes are large enough for it to grow through without it dying. we shall see.

that makes the list of plants:

1. java fern (very small but none the less there)
2. anubias nana
3. anubias coffee
4. jungle vals
5. crypt parva
6. dwarf sagittaria
7. water sprite
8. riccia (hopefully will survive)

I will be adding my red flame sword that isnt doing so great in my 10 gallon as well to see if i can get it to come back to its original glory.

Now its just a matter of waiting for the cycle so i can get some fishies in there .
