Nice! Make sure to share the algae when it grows out :P

*edit* btw, did you make the stand as well? Or was that the footprint of a 20L?

Fish Shrimp tanks are like cups of coffee, one is never enough.

My dad made that about 15 years ago when I had a 29 gallon.

I like the dimension. I don't want to set up my 20L again, but I still want a long and shallow tank. This inspires me to make one my self. For me, it's either make one or buy the Mr. Aqua 12g long.

Just wondering, how thick are the glass and what silicone is that? It doesn't look like a GE silicone to me.

Currently out of the hobby

The glass is 1/4" thick and I used GE RTV 108 translucent silicone sealant. It might be overkill but it's super strong.

Nice build, nice stand that your dad made.

My only question is why you didn't make it 12" wide (front to back) like a 20L/29G since you had the room on the stand.

The extra water volume might have been helpful.

I like ratio of the measurements. I will eventually build a three sectioned bookcase and place the tank in the center. I build now too.
