15g column evolution

I decided to get back into aquariums once again since I had settled down (retired out of the service). I picked up a 15g column from a big box store and all the extras. I had been reading up on cycling the tank and such and also on live plants so my tank has gone through several changes thus far.

The start:
All plastic plants except for the marimo.

Then I added a couple of plants:
A type of Anbius and pennywort?

The I went fully planted. This is all before I even bought fish.

Removed the airstone and did a little re-arranging.

Fish!! and shrimp too.....

Added an Anubius, and decent growth so far.

The yesterday I added a Hornwort and Spirilis along with a light modification (was reading the Egde thread, got my idea from there). This pic shows the tank illuminated with a 8watt 8000K tube and two 6500K 13watt CFLs. Next on my list is paintball CO2!

Thanks! I have my CO2 setup on the way for this tank, and I have been thinking about a second tank just for shrimp. I just need to find the right piece of driftwood for a higher tank like this.

Look for someone selling manzanita wood, it may give you the look you want.

Rescape!!!!

5gal set back up for a plant storage tank. Don't want to waste my plants! I'll need it anyway because I have ordered more plants for my soon-to-be 15gal shrimp tank.

Thx! The next tank i am thinking about is the same one, Aqueon 15 column for my shrimp tank. I want to find a nice chunk of driftwood that is taller (like a stump) and then fill it in with moss and anubias, pressurized CO2 and a canister filter. I am planning a new stand to have both tanks on top, and the 5gal under for my plant tank (storage). I'm also working on an Opae Ula tank, something about 2.5 to 5gal.

I got wood!!

Zoo Med Monpani wood, medium (about 11x11") and large (15x18"). The smaller piece is hollow and the larger will work great in my shrimp tank. Now to get the replacement tank here in one piece.
