55 is starting to take shape!!

Here it is after 2 months....I am taking this slowly...


55 gal with Cascade 1000, 4.5 inches fourite, gravel and Eco-complete, 2-40w Tritons, 1-40w Power-Glo
Fish: Rummy Nose Tetras,White Cloud Tetras (2 color morphs), Cherry Barbs, Cory Catfish, Honey Gourami's, gold neons, black stripe tetras, 2 female german rams
Plants: Micro Sword, Creeping Charlie, Frill, Red Crypt wendtii, Amazon Sword, Anubias nana, Bacopa rotundifolia, Aponogeton undalatus, Cabomba, Ludwigia repens

the background is black...but it has accumulated some algae....it just seems to grow there...and the algae eater loves to hang out there tons!

looks good!! Add some more stem plants to help control the algae blooms.

What is that plant in the front that is orang-ish?

BTW, how many WPG is it?

You may want to get a few more plants in there. Also the R. indica and the green stems on the left(maybe Jenny or Moneywort not sure). You may want to plant 2-3 stems 1/2-1inch apart. Spread out little more because when they start growing good only the tops will look healthy. You don't have to spread it out a mile though.

I ordered more plants....some background and some foreground plants...should be in next week. I'll separate the plants a bit, thanks for the info.


I have about 2.3 watts per gallon....and everything seems to be growing well and fast!
